The X Factor host Dermot O’Leary has revealed how he would love to bring back to classic show This Is Your Life. Dermot says that he feels that there is room for the show in the schedules, although he did state that it would have to feature A list stars.

O’Leary told Digital Spy, “Maybe [I'll bring back] This Is Your Life, I'd quite like to do that. I think there's room for This Is Your Life. I think there's room for it in the schedules, but you have to be over about 45 I think is the qualification. You wouldn't want to scrape the bottom of the barrel with the guests, you've got to have proper legends doing it. And you'd have to reinvent it as well.”
Dermot also admitted that he would one day like to have his very own chat show but did accept that there are currently too many around at the moment, “I'd like one eventually, but I think there's quite a few around at the moment so there's no room for another one.”

Michael Aspel with Ian Wright
This Is Your Life was a popular show, which began way back in 1955 and was hosted by Eamonn Andrews up until his death in 1987. The show was then taken on by Michael Aspel, who hosted This Is Your Life up until 2003, when the show was eventually cancelled.
