Jennifer Lawrence has become the hottest thing around, both in Hollywood circles and outside of it. After earning her first Oscar nomination for ‘Winter’s Bone’ at the age of 22, she then shot to fame with ‘X-Men: First Class’ and then blockbuster success with ‘The Hunger Games’. She showed that the Oscar nomination was not a fluke by getting nominated again this year for ‘Silver Linings Playbook’. Still only 22 years old, the actress then went on to become one of the faces of the prestigious brand Dior.

Now, after winning the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Musical/Comedy, Lawrence is one of the favorites to win Best Actress at the Oscars [going head to head with Jessica Chastain], and everyone’s eyes are on her as the end of award season approaches.
That everyone, reportedly, includes designers; Radar Online reports that designers are battling to dress Lawrence in the wake of her success and because of the public attention she commands. A source tells Radar Online, “Jennifer’s in demand on screen and off it – everyone wants a piece of her. Both Jennifer and her stylist have been flooded with offers from designers to wear their clothing and jewellery for the Oscars.”

The source continued, “At the moment they’re just reviewing what’s on offer, but some of the jewellery designers are offering a lot of money for Jennifer to wear their expensive necklaces and earrings. She was paid around $100,000 to wear Chopard diamond earrings at the Golden Globes. However, she can expect to receive a lot more at the Oscars given that the event is covered more extensively around the world.” Expect to see the star in another gorgeous Dior gown come Oscar night, but the jewellery she wears is up to question.
