Diane Kruger plays an important supporting role in the upcoming ‘The Host’ – she is one of the ‘seekers’ looking to wipe out the last remains of the human resistance, which includes our main characters, Melanie Stryder, Ian O’Shea, and Jared Howe.

In a new interview with MTV News, Diane opens up about her character in the film – she talks about the ‘seekers’, saying, “Well, the seekers in general are looking for the last pockets of human resistance. Practically the entire world has been taken over. My character is a little bit different – you come to understand that the seeker, me, is a little odd.”
The interviewer talks about the look of the film being very distinct and interesting, especially in regards to the look of her character, and Diane replies, “All the seekers are always in white. I have different outfits, and they’re all white. Perfect you know, my hair is always perfect, and it’s been really fun. You know, because it’s really, you’re wearing a white outfit in the desert wearing a motorcycle that is shiny chrome [laughs].”
