Diane Kruger may actually be best known for big budget films like 'Troy' and 'Inglorious Basterds', but she has revealed that she prefers cabe television, where roles for women are stronger.

Diane Kruger in 'The Host'
She explains, "In America, super productions like Iron Man or Batman, or some comedy, get made. However, there's barely any space for good dramas. Especially for women is harder to get a role like this one."
She also adds that she would love to continue working in both American and French films, explaining, "I like both, otherwise I wouldn't do it. However, for me is very important to keep shooting movies in France. They write female roles much better than in America. On the other hand, it's a lot of fun to shoot movies in America. It's a huge industry."

Kruger currently stars in FX's 'The Bridge', which is a very well written TV show that's gaining a lot of attention. In addition to the show, Kruger is still continuing to build her film CV and she has upcoming roles in films called 'The Green Blade Rises' and 'Midnight Sun'. Kruger is also still with long-time boyfriend Joshua Jackson, and the couple is often photographed out and about in Los Angeles.
