It has been reported that, Diddy has finally paid off three of the victims that were involved in the shooting at Club New York, in New York City way back in 1999. The civil action lawsuit has been ongoing for over a decade after Diddys accomplice Jamal ‘Shyne’ Barrow, shot the three clubbers.
Barrow was sentenced to 10 years in prison and served 9 of those years before his release. The incident took place on 27 December 1999, when Diddy and his then girlfriend Jennifer Lopez attended the club, along with Jamal and Anthony ‘Wolf’ Jones. An altercation then took place with Matthew ‘Scar’ Allen, prompting Shyne to pull out a gun and shoot into the crowded club.
The complete terms of the settlement are not exactly known but it is believed that the highest paid victim received a cheque in the region of $1.8 million. The other two are said to have received $500,000 and $50,000 due to the lesser injuries.
