It is fair to say that George Clooney seems to know what he is doing, when it comes to making movies, having been very successful in the past. Next up for George Clooney is the movie The Monuments Men, which he co-wrote, directs and will star in.

Along with George Clooney, The Monuments Men also stars Matt Damon among a very strong, all-star cast. Now, it has been reported by Variety that Dimitri Leonidas (Animals) has signed on to join the cast of The Monuments Men.
The Monuments Men is based on true events and will centre around a group of unlikely World War II heroes, which include museum directors, curators, and art historians. This unlikely team of supposed experts have been given the task of finding and recovering renowned pieces of art, which the Nazi's have stolen and are due to be destroyed by Hitler.
Matt Damon is also in the film
As well as starring Dimitri Leonidas, George Clooney and Matt Damon, The Monuments Men will also star Daniel Craig, Matt Damon, John Goodman, Cate Blanchett and Bill Murray. The Monuments Men will be directed by George Clooney, based on the screenplay that he also developed, along with Grant Heslovm and is set to be released on December 18 in the US and on January 1, 2014 in the UK.
