There has been a lot of talk about the Star Wars franchise right from the moment it was confirmed that Disney were making a new Star Wars trilogy. While most of the talk has been about this trilogy, what it will focus on, the cast, and what the title of the new Star Wars movie will be, there are also some spin-off films that have been planned.
A Han Solo movie is a possibility

We have known for some time now that there are definitely going to be at least two Star Wars spin-off movies but now it has been confirmed that there is a third one being planned. The first two spin-off films are being planned for 2016 and 2018, in between the release of the new trilogy films, so we can assume that the third spin-off movie will come in 2020.

While there has been no official word as to what these spin-off movies will be, there have been plenty of rumours going round that we will get a Han Solo origins movie; a film about the bounty hunter Boba Fett, while a lot of fans have also been calling for a Star Wars spin-off movie to centre around the greatest Jedi Master of all Yoda.

Simon Kinberg and Lawrence Kasdan are the two guys responsible for writing the screenplays for the new Star Wars spin-off movies and we cannot wait to see what they come up with. First though, we have Star Wars: Episode VII to be excited about, with the movie set to hit the big screen on December 18, 2015 in both the US and the UK.
