Doctor Who actress Jenna-Louise Coleman has spoken about her love life, admitting that she has never actually been on a proper date. Jenna-Louise says that going from a smaller secondary school, to a larger private school, made her a much more shy person in one on one situations.
While talking to the Radio Times, Coleman said, "I'd never been on a date in my life ever because the idea of just being sat with one person. I think it was going from eight people in a tiny, tiny school to being surrounded by loads of people. I shrank away, surrounded myself with quite loud friends."
She added, "I've got a lot better as I've got older. If I'm with a group of people I'm okay, but actually I'm quite a nervous person if I'm just one-to-one with somebody. I'm making myself sound socially inept here and I'm absolutely fine in a group of people but I am quite shy."
Thinks have not worked out too badly for Jenna-Louise Coleman on the dating front though, as the former Emmerdale actress is now in a relationship with Game of Thrones actor Richard Madden. Jenna-Louise Coleman recently spoke about the Doctor Who season finale, which will air on BBC America in the US and BBC One in the UK.
