True Blood actress Anna Paquin has been in the entertainment industry since she was just a young girl, even managing to pick up an Oscar along the way. Anna won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar when she was just 11 years old, for her role in The Piano, and has gone on to have a hugely successful career since then.
In 2000, Anna Paquin made her first appearance as Rogue in the first X-Men movie, going on to reprise the role for the following two X-Men films. When it was announced that Bryan Singer was going to bring back some of the original X-Men cast for the movie X-Men: Days of Future Past, Anna Paquin was among those to return.
It took a week to shoot the scene with Anna Paquin in, which saw her share the scene with Shawn Ashmore as Iceman, Patrick Stewart as Professor Xavier and Ian McKellen as Magneto. However, during the editing phase of X-Men: Days of Future Past, Bryan Singer revealed that they had to cut the scene from the movie.
So, with Rogue now not appearing in X-Men: Days of Future Past, what does that mean for Anna Paquin's future in the X-Men franchise? Well, it has already been confirmed that X-Men: Apocalypse will be made for a 2016 release, which means that we could finally see Anna Paquin back as Rogue then, although nothing has yet been confirmed, so watch this space.
