When it comes to defining roles in epic movies there are not many that come bigger than appearing in a Star Wars film, which pretty much every star on the planet would love to do. For British actor Domhnall Gleeson though, that is a reality, as he will appear in Star Wars: Episode VII but the talented actor also has plenty of other projects lined up for the next few years.

It has been reported that Domhnall Gleeson is in talks to join the cast of the upcoming movie The Revenant, which would see him once again teaming up with a very impressive cast. While we are all looking forward to seeing Star Wars: Episode VII, we also cannot wait to see what Domhnall Gleeson will bring to his role in The Revenant.
 
While most of you are fully aware of what to expect from Star Wars: Episode VII, you may not be too familiar with The Revenant, which is officially describe as being centered "on the 1820s' story of a frontiersman, Hugh Glass, who set out on a path of vengeance against those who left him for dead after a bear mauling."

If Domhnall Gleeson does agree to sign on for The Revenant, he will join a fairly impressive cast which includes the likes of Tom Hardy, Leonardo DiCaprio and Will Poulter. The Revenant will be directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, based on the screenplay that Mark L. Smith helped him develop from the hit Michael Punke novel. The Revenant is expected to begin production later in the year, with a release date set for January 8, 2016.
