Hollywood beauty Drew Barrymore has been working in the acting industry since she was just a young girl and she found it very difficult growing up in the public spotlight. Drew had to spend some time in rehab when she was jut 14 years old, as well as having to spend some time in a facility for the mentally ill, but she has since turned her life around in a very big way.
These days, Drew Barrymore has found the perfect way to balance her personal life with her acting career and it seems that a lot of it is to do with her children. Drew says that having her children has made her grow up in a very big way and has made her become a much better person.
Barrymore explained, "My daughters have made me behave as the person I always dreamed to be. It’s like, I would always climb that mountain and I would fail time and time again have a reaction that didn’t make me feel proud of myself or, you know, you’re just growing, trying to be the best person you can be."
She then went on to add, "Somehow my daughters have just pushed me over and I still fail all the time and I just get home at night and I’m like, 'I didn’t lose it, I somehow took the high road 'cause you forced me to'"
Drew Barrymore has two beautiful daughters, Olive, three, and Frankie, two, with her ex-husband Will Kopelman, with the two now co-parenting.
