East 17 have confirmed reports that they are once again set to reform, but this time they will be replacing founding member Brian Harvey. The remaining members John Hendy, Terry Coldwell and Tony Mortimer will instead be joined by former 4th Ba5e member Brian Dreelan.
Brian Dreelan was last heard of when he appeared in the UK papers last year claiming that, The X Factor winner, Matt Cardle has stolen his girlfriend. The new line up is set to release their new single ’Secret Of My Life’ in July and will tour the UK in the same month.
East 17 were fairly successful in the 1990s managing to achieve 12 top ten singles between 1992 and 1998. All four original members, including Brian Harvey, reformed the band in 2006 for a one off gig before coming together again in 2009 to perform at Glastonbury.
