Hollywood funny man Eddie Murphy has had his movie, A Thousand Words, sitting around, waiting to get a release date for some time now and finally it is set to be released. A Thousand Words has been given a release date of January 13, 2012, almost four years after it was made.
Eddie Murphy made A Thousand Words along with director Brian Robbins, who worked with Eddie on Norbit and Meet Dave, way back in 2008 for Dreamworks. However, when Dreamworks parted ways with Paramount, A Thousand Words was one of two films that they could not afford to take on.
Yet the cost of making the film was such that they could not afford to just totally dismiss it. So they have decided to try and make back as much money as they possibly can, by releasing the film in January. The film centres around a man who discovers that he only has 1,000 words to speak before he dies. It will be interesting to see just how well this movie actually does.
