It can sometimes be very difficult to use public transport when you are somebody famous, especially when you are one of the biggest movie stars on the planet, as people will tend to hassle you time and again. However, British movie star Eddie Redmayne does not seem to have that problem, with Eddie recently being spotted using the London Underground, with not a single person bothering him.
An eyewitness was speaking to the Evening Standard, when they revealed, "No one could quite believe it was him so no-one bothered him at all. Everyone was just getting on with their commute as normal. They just blended in like regular commuters." Meanwhile, a close friend of the actor also admitted, "He has lived in the city for years and is a proud Londoner. No amount of Oscars will change that."
This does not really come as any surprise though, as it is not the first time that we have heard that Eddie Redmayne enjoys using the London Underground, as the actor himself has previously spoken about his joy at using the Tube, insisting it was one of his favourite ways to travel. Redmayne said at the time, "I’d be on the tube in London, imagining talking to this thing, and suddenly realise I’m being stared at."
As far as his acting career is concerned, Eddie Redmayne can currently be seen on the big screen, starring in the lead role in the Harry Potter spinoff movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. If you have yet to see this film then we strongly suggest you head and watch it before it is pulled from the theatres.
