Elijah Wood to experience The Hobbit as a fan
Lord of the Rings actor Elijah Wood has revealed how he is looking forward to the surprises that he will get to experience from watching The Hobbit as a fan. Elijah admitted that his involvement was so much less in The Hobbit, compared to that of the Lord of the Rings, that he did not know everything that was going to happen so would be able to watch the movie as a fan.
Wood explained, "What's great is that, especially because my character is so small in this, I can be completely objective. So, I'm excited to see it, as a fan. I don't have the months and months of hard work and experience on the films, and deep knowledge as to what they're filming, on a day-to-day basis. I have my own little bit, and then everything is going to be a surprise."
Elijah Wood recently admitted that joining up with the rest of the old Lord of the Rings cast and crew was a lot like attending a family reunion. Elijah also admitted how he felt that, being given the opportunity to return to the role of Frodo Baggins, was a lot like being given a gift. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is set to be released on December 14, 2012.
