There have been a lot of impressive television shows over the years that have really hit home with the viewers and gone on to become very successful along the way. While some of these shows have gone on to try to milk the series for all its worth, there are others that have realised exactly the right time to call it quits and bring the series to an end.
Over the years AMC have brought us a number of top shows and they always seem to know exactly when to bring their series to an end. This year we will see Mad Men come to an end after its seventh and final season. Actress Elisabeth Moss has played the role of Peggy in Mad Men since the first season and she has admitted that the series finale will take some time to sink in.
Moss was speaking to Bello magazine when she said, "That last moment when I play Peggy and that last moment where they yell, 'Cut', and check the gate, that's the moment that's gonna be kind of freaky. But I think when it comes down to it, when it ends, it's going to be very much not real to me - it's going to feel like, 'Oh, we'll be back in six months.'"
Mad Men season seven premiered on AMC on Sunday, April 13 and will continue to air on AMC in the US every Sunday at 9/8c. Meanwhile, the final season of Mad Men will air on Sky Atlantic in the UK, with the season seven premiere airing on Wednesday, April 16 at 10pm.
