There has been plenty of talk about the Godzilla remake, since it was confirmed that the movie was being made. Now, Martha Marcy May Marlene actress Elizabeth Olsen has confirmed her involvement in the film and revealed that she will begin shooting the Godzilla remake later this year.

While on the red carpet at the BAFTA’s, Olsen explained, “I'm about to film Godzilla in the Spring so that's the next thing I'm working on.” She then went on to admit that the new Godzilla movie would be a very different take on any of the previous Godzilla films.
She added, “Well, Godzilla is actually going to be a very heavy drama! It's definitely going to be a very different take on the past Godzilla's.”

In the meantime though, you can catch Elizabeth Olsen starring on the big screen in the remake of the movie Oldboy, which also stars Samuel L Jackson, Josh Brolin and Sharlto Copley. Oldboy is directed by Spike Lee, based on the screenplay that has been adapted by Mark Protosevich, and is set to be released on October 11.
