Elle Fanning, the younger sister of Dakota Fanning and the other half of the most talented sister duo in Hollywood, is talking about her experience meeting Angelina Jolie for the first time, on the set of ‘Maleficient’.
In an interview with Pop Sugar, Fanning spoke about her and Jolie’s first meeting, saying, "I remember going into Pinewood Studios and turning the corner in London, seeing her for the first time and thinking, 'There she [Jolie] is!' And she immediately just gave me a huge hug. And she said, 'We're going to have so much fun working together!' From that moment I was like, 'Oh my God — she's touching me!"
She also spoke about co-starring with Christina Hendricks in her movie ‘Ginger and Rosa’, saying that she and Hendricks bonded over shopping for vintage clothing - "She loves vintage just like me. We share the love of that — she looks amazing."
Although ‘Maleficient’ won’t release until 2014, ‘Ginger and Rosa’ is currently in limited release in theaters now, and Fanning is getting some awards buzz for her lead role. The movie also co-stars Alice Englert and Christina Hendricks, and is about two girls living in 1960’s London during the Cold War and the nuclear missile crisis.
