Sometimes in Hollywood you will get an actor or actress who becomes an instant overnight superstar, such as Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson thanks to the huge success of the Harry Potter movies. Then there are those other stars who have to work hard for many years just to get the recognition that their talent truly deserves.
Actress Ellen Hollman has been in the acting game for many years now, first appearing on our television screens back in 2005 with a small role in Sex, Love and Secrets. Since then, Ellen has gone on to have a number of small roles and guest appearances in television shows and movies, waiting for that one role to change her career.
Fans would have seen Ellen Hollman in such shows as Malcolm in the Middle, NCIS, The OC and Rules of Engagement, to name just a few, as she kept plugging away and working hard on making a success of her career. Then, in 2012 Ellen landed the role of Saxa in Spartacus: War of the Damned, going on to appear in 14 episodes of the show, her biggest role to date.
This role has certainly given Ellen Hollman's career a bit of a boost and, earlier in the year she was seen in the hit television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Next up for Ellen is a role in the movie The Scorpion King: The Lost Throne, which is released this year. While Ellen Hollman is not yet considered a Hollywood A lister, she is still working hard and has the talent to become a top actress in the future.
