The past few years has seen a number of Hollywood stars making the decision to come out and confirm that they are homosexual and now it seems we have another. There has been a lot of talk about the sexuality of Juno actress Ellen Page over the years and last year she spoke out about them, to claim that she found the gay rumours silly.
Now though, Ellen seems to have had a change of heart, as she has come out and confirmed that she is gay. Page gave a speech at the LGBT conference in Las Vegas, where she was met with a roar of appreciation from the crowd.

Ellen told onlookers "I'm here today because I am gay. And because ... maybe I can make a difference. To help others have an easier and more hopeful time. Regardless, for me, I feel a personal obligation and a social responsibility. My spirit suffered, my mental health suffered and my relationships suffered. And I'm standing here today, with all of you, on the other side of all that pain." So there you have it, Ellen Page is gay.
As for her movie career, fans can see Ellen Page reprising her role as Kitty Pryde in X-Men: Days of Future Past, which opens on May 22 in the UK and May 23 in the US.
