Over the past few years there has been a lot of talk about the sexuality of Hollywood actress Ellen Page, with a lot of people suggesting that she was gay. Ellen always tried to find a way around the matter until recently, when she took to the stage at an LGBT youth conference to let everybody know that she is in fact a lesbian.
Following the speech, Ellen Page has gone on to receive a lot of support, with many of her fellow Hollywood stars coming out to praise the actress for her bravery. The latest Hollywood star to come out and praise Ellen Page for the speech that she gave at the LGBT youth conference, is Julianne Moore, who will work with Ellen in an upcoming movie.
Julianne was chatting to E! Online, when she said, "It was really wonderful. I was very happy for her." Moore then went on to talk about working with Ellen on the movie Freeheld, adding, "It's great. I'm excited about it."
It was confirmed that Julianne Moore would star alongside Ellen Page in Freeheld the day after Ellen confirmed that she was gay. In the movie Freeheld, Julianne Moore and Ellen Page will play same-sex lovers, while The Hangover star Zach Galifianakis is also signed on to appear in the movie. There is no word yet of when production on Freeheld will start or when the movie will be released but it is known that Peter Sollett will direct the movie, based on the Ron Nyswaner screenplay.
