We Are Never Getting Back Together singer Taylor Swift has revealed she recently met English singer Ellie Goulding and managed to come across completely weird. Taylor is a self confessed fan of Ellie and admitted that she may have gone a little over the top when meeting the star.
Swift explained, “I made a friend last night. I have two British friends. Ed Sheeran is one of my friends and I met Ellie Goulding last night and she's the coolest girl. I've been obsessed with her records for a really long time. I felt a little fan girl-ish because I was quoting lines from her songs and I was like, 'Where did you come up with that? What's the meaning behind that?' She was physically weirded out. I know all the words to her new song.”
When she is not freaking out fellow stars, Taylor has to battle with nerves before she takes to the stage to perform, “I get pretty nervous. I kind of like go through, you know when you talk to yourself in the mirror? And I'm like, 'They're not going to throw things at you, it's going to be OK, it's going to be OK.' It's not like that, it's more like, 'Mmm ... it's going to be OK?” she added.
Swift continued, “I don't get nervous when I'm going on stage and a crowd of people have bought tickets to see me, because I'm like, 'You guys totally want to be here.' It's when I'm not sure if people want me to be on stage.”
Taylor Swift recently had an argument with her ex boyfriend John Mayor regarding her song Dear John, which he claims is about him but she insists is not.
