Singer Ellie Goulding split from her boyfriend Skrillex earlier this year but she insists that the two of them are still very good friends. Ellie claims that Skrillex is one of the nicest people she has ever met and has plans to work with him on a project next year.

Goulding told The Sun, “Me and my ex Sonny (Skrillex) are good mates, we're even going to make music together next year. Our own little project which will be released. Everyone loves the Twilight track. We work really well together, we've found we really do connect in that way.”
She added, “It will be something a bit more electronic, it won't be like my music.” Ellie then discussed the reasons for the split, “It's literally because we didn't see each other enough. It's really sad. He's one of my best mates, it's a shame. He is a really beautiful person, he's the nicest human being,” she said.
Skrillex
Ellie Goulding and Skrillex previously worked together on the track Bittersweet for the movie The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. Ellie is set to release the track Figure 8 on December 16, which comes from her latest album Halcyon.
