English actress Emilia Clarke has revealed how she loves her scenes where she has to speak Dothraki in the hit HBO fantasy drama Game of Thrones. With the second season of Game of Thrones just a couple of months away, Emilia claims that she loves being able to immerse herself into the language, as it helps to feel part of the culture.
Clarke explained, “Yeah it’s really good, yeah. I was looking back at it the other day and I was like ‘oh yeah, I was really getting really good’. It’s just wonderful to kind of have that as a tool to sort of immerse yourself in the Dothraki culture. To be able to be so different and then also have a completely different language as well, that kind of helps you to feel much more Dothraki.”
Emilia Clarke is one of the few lucky ones who managed to not be killed off in Game of Thrones season one, so will be joined by a whole host of new cast members for the second season of Game of Thrones. Game of Thrones season two is set to premiere on HBO on April 1, 2012 before it hits the UK on Sky Atlantic one day later on April 2, 2012.
