In the first season of Arrow, Emily Bett Rickards has had a bit of a cameo role as Felicity Smoak but it has been confirmed that her character will become a season regular for season two. Emily has admitted that she is delighted by the nes and proud to be involved with such a good character.

Rickards was chatting to the guys over at Collider, when she told them, "It’s grand, in all senses of the word. It’s fantastic, and I’m elated.  It’s also a big deal. I just feel really honored that I get to explore the character for a little longer. That’s the dream."

She added, "I actually get to live a character. I have to say goodbye to her for a little bit.  I’m on break from her for three months, but I haven’t really said goodbye. Sometimes I find myself shopping and I’m trying something on that’s so not me. It’s weird."

Arrow season one continues to air on The CW on Wednesday nights. Arrow Season two is expected to premiere on The CW later in the year.
