We have been given some fantastic shows over the years and in the past few years AMC have brought us some brilliant shows, including the hit series The Walking Dead, which is now in its fourth season. While some shows fall off and lose their way a little, The Walking Dead is a show which has managed to keep itself fresh and improve with every season.
The Walking Dead has a very impressive cast, which includes actress Emily Kinney in the role of Beth, who has been in the show since the start of season two. In The Walking Dead we have seen Beth have a number of scenes where she sings and Emily has opened up about having to do the singing scenes and what they mean for her character.
During a Q&A with AMCTV, Kinney said, "It’s a good way to give a glimpse into Beth’s life, in a way. With the kind of music a person listens to, you feel like you really know somebody. When I first meet people, I send some songs to them. So I think having Beth sing on the show is a good way to let people feel like they know a bit of her inner life. This season I sing another Tom Waits song to Judith, 'I Don’t Wanna Grow Up.' Beth is definitely a Tom Waits fan."
The Walking Dead season four continues to air on AMC on Sunday evenings at 9/8c in the US. Meanwhile the show airs in the UK on Fox on Monday evenings at 9pm.
