Hollywood has seen many beautiful stars coming and going over the years and, while there are a lot of actresses who have to work very hard to get the recognition that their acting talents deserve, there are others who just get thrown in at the deep end, landing the big roles with little to no experience. More often than not, these lucky stars tend to be models who have decided to turn their hand to acting.
Just take model Emily Ratajkowski for example. While the stunning model does have a small amount of acting experience, she is not close to being the most experienced actress in Hollywood. However, following her appearance in the Robin Thicke music video for the song Blurred Lines, Emily Ratajkowski has seen a number of doors opening for her on the acting scene, including a role in the new David Fincher movie Gone Girl.
Emily Ratajkowski will play the role of Andie in Gone Girl and David Fincher recently revealed how the model landed the role in the movie. David says that he was talking to Ben Affleck, who plays the male lead in Gone Girl, about what he was looking for from the Andie character, when Ben suggested "the girl in the Blurred Lines video" aka Emily Ratajkowski. The rest, as they say, is history.
As well as starring Ben Affleck and Emily Ratajkowski, the Gone Girl cast also includes the likes of Rosamund Pike, Missy Pyle, Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry and Boyd Holbrook, among others. Gone Girl will open on October 3 in both the US and the UK. Check out the Gone Girl trailer below.
