Everybody has an opinion on what happens to us when we die and, while not everyone agrees on it, there are a lot of people who believe that our spirit sometimes remains on Earth. It seems that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 actress Emma Stone is one of those believers, as she has revealed that she is convinced her dead grandfather leaves her money lying around the house.
Stone was a guest on the Late Show with David Letterman, when she said to the veteran host, "There's a long family history with quarters. My grandfather leaves quarters. It's just amazing. It's him! It's absolutely him." Letterman then cut in to give his view and ask her, "This is your late grandfather, and you find a quarter, 'Oh, I bet that's from granddad?'"
Stone then went on to add, "Yes. Who I never met! It's exactly like that. It's that. It's such a long story that you'd have to go to commercial five times and roll to a clip and then come back and I'd still be telling the story. But it's him! You guys, it's him. That's the joy of it! It's not a logical thing - it's magical."
As far as her acting career goes, Emma Stone will appear in the upcoming movie Birdman, which includes an all-star cast such as Edward Norton, Naomi Watts, Andrea Riseborough, Michael Keaton, Zach Galifianakis, and Amy Ryan. Birdman is directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu and will open on October 17 in the US, before then hitting the big screen in the UK on January 2, 2015.
