The Amazing Spider-Man actress Emma Stone, who plays the Gwen Stacy in the forthcoming Mark Webb directed movie, has been discussing a little about her character in the movie. Gwen Stacy dies in the comic and Emma revealed her disappointment to Mark Webb for not telling her.

Stone joked, “What? Oh Mark, you didn’t send me a, he sent me a comic and there were some sequences cut out and it was ripped, pieces were ripped. Oh man.” Emma then went on to admit that she was a huge fan of her character Gwen Stacy.
She added, “I really love that Gwen is a damsel in distress. I know a lot of people are like ‘she’s a bad ass, she’s got a life of her own’. I think that she’s 17 and there’s a big element to Gwen that is figuring a lot out.”

As well as starring Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, The Amazing Spider-Man also stars Emma’s real life boyfriend Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man aka Peter Parker and Rhys Ifans as The Lizard aka Dr. Curt Connors. The Amazing Spider-Man is set to be released on July 3.
