The Help actress Emma Stone has revealed how her character Gwen Stacy and Andrew Garfield’s character Peter Parker aka Spider-Man share a nice first kiss, although she does admit that it is a lot different from the upside down kiss by Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire in the previous Spider-Man movie. Emma would not say whether or not it was as iconic though, as she feels that is something for the audience to decide.
Stone explained, “You don’t wanna know. You wanna watch the movie and find out. And it would be weird if we were like, ‘Yes, there’s something iconic coming up.’ You’ve got to decide if it’s iconic or not.” She added, “There is a nice first kiss. I will say that. And it’s different than the upside-down one. And we liked it.”
It has been suggested that Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are currently dating off screen, although neither of them have yet to confirm or deny the rumour. As well as Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, The Amazing Spider-Man also stars Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen and Sally Field. The Amazing Spider-Man is set to be released on July 3, 2012.
