Emma Watson has always said that environmental awareness is a topic that's important to her, especially during the promotion of her fair trade clothing line 'People Tree'. Now, she proves her commitment to the cause by posing for portraits in James Houston's new photography book 'Natural Beauty', which promotes environmental consciousness and awareness.

James Houston wrote that the book was to 'raise awareness and funds for the environment and sustainable living.' Emma and other celebrities will be featured in the book, which goes on sale at the Milk Gallery in late April and whose proceeds will be going towards Global Green USA.
Houston wrote about the book, "My latest project, NATURAL BEAUTY, is a photographic series inspired by the connection I feel to nature in my design work and in the environment. I shot some of the world’s leading celebrities and top models who are also environmentally conscious. The project will launch during World Earth Week 2013 in New York and Los Angeles in collaboration with MILK Galleries NYC. By celebrating the incredible beauty that exists in nature, my hope is that these images will inspire people to appreciate and value nature’s beauty. The environment is a gift we can’t afford to take for granted. We all need to do our part to protect it."

The shoot is a departure for Watson, who generally tends to stay away from anything too racy or revealing. However, she has been changing up her image recently, especially with roles in 'Perks of Being a Wallflower' and the upcoming 'Bling Ring'. Besides which, this seems to a topic which is very important to Watson, as evidenced by her previous connections to the subject matter and the many interviews she's given about it.
