Disney really have been having a great run of things recently, with their live action adaptations of their classic tales, which has led to them lining up plenty more of them for the coming years, including some sequels to those already successful projects. Following the huge success of the live action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, there has been talk of the possibility of a Beauty and the Beast sequel being made in the future.
British actress Emma Watson played the role of Belle to perfection in Beauty and the Beast and she has been asked about the possibility of there being a Beauty and the Beast 2, which she claims she knows nothing about. However, Emma did take the time to talk about some possible ideas that she does have for a Beauty and the Beast sequel, and while they do sound interesting, they are not exactly the most exciting.
Watson said, "I would LOVE to do a sequel, yes. I always thought Belle would become a teacher, and she would run the library in the castle and open it up to the village. This was where I was going!"
With Disney having so much success with their live action adaptations, making so much money along the way, we have no doubt that they will look into the possibility of coming up with a good story for a Beauty and the Beast sequel, and we will be very surprised if Beauty and the Beast 2 is not hitting the big screen in the very near future.
