When the first Harry Potter movie was released way back in 2001, it made global superstars of all the young people appearing in the movie, with these young stars becoming household names around the world. From the moment that the first Harry Potter movie opened, all eyes have been on the young actors and actresses involved, with huge interest in the future of their acting careers.

Emma Watson starred in the Harry Potter movies
Actress Emma Watson was just 11 years old when the first Harry Potter movie hit the big screen and we have watched the actress grow up in front of our eyes. Emma gave us some very enjoyable performances as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films and she will forever be remembered as the character but, since then, she has proven that she is so much more than just that.
Not only has Emma Watson gone on to prove herself in the acting industry, with roles in movies such as My Week with Marilyn, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Bling Ring, and Noah, but she has also shown her character away from the acting industry. In 2014, Emma became a UN Goodwill Ambassador and assisted in the launch of the HeForShe campaign, giving some strong speeches along the way.

Emma Watson has starred in some interesting projects
Back to her acting career though, and Emma Watson has some very interesting and exciting movie projects lined up for the coming years. Emma will appear in the movies Regression, and Colonia, while she is also linked to roles in the planned movies While We're Young, Queen of Tearling, and La La Land.
However, the movie project that we are most looking forward to seeing, is the upcoming live action adaptation of the classic Disney tale Beauty and the Beast. Emma Watson will play the role of Belle in the movie, with Dan Stevens as the Beast. Bill Condon will direct Beauty and the Beast, with the movie set to hit the big screen on March 17, 2017. We cannot wait!
