Emma Watson has 'Perks of Being A Wallflower' to thank for Hollywood sitting up and taking her more seriously. Before Perks, she was known primarily for Harry Potter and her fashion, and no one really knew whether she could make good choices or even act.
Emma's admitted that Perks reaffirmed her love for acting, so it makes sense that she would team up with the director, Stephen Chbosky, for another film. Reports confirm that Emma and Stephen will be teaming up again for a film adaptation called 'While We're Young', based on a book called '29'
The synopsis of the film is, "A 75-year-old woman, still feeling frisky and that she has far more in common with her 29-year-old granddaughter than with her stuffy 55-year-old daughter, is granted a birthday wish. She gets to be 29 again, for a day. She uses the time to go on an adventure with her now same-aged granddaughter."
It's not clear what role Emma's interested in playing, but the screenplay is currently in progress right now. It will be interesting to see when this project will go into pre-production because Emma's pretty booked for the next year. She has 'Noah' coming out next, and then Beauty and the Beast with Guillermo Del Toro.
