This 46-year-old English host is extremely pleased with her participation in “The Jump”: an upcoming British reality television show where Mrs. McCall will be seen co-presenting, via Channel 4, alongside Alex Brooker.
This reality is basically a competition where 13 well-known celebrities try to master different winter sports, (with the help of Olympic medalist mentors) such as bobsleigh, skeleton, skier cross, slalom and speed skating. You can just imagine the difficult tasks these personalities had to perform! The famous celebs who decided to risk their poise to participate in this television spectacle were Sir Steve Redgrave, Sinitta, Amy Childs, Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, Kimberly Wyatt, Anthea Turner, Marcus Brigstocke, Dareen Gough, Nicky Clarke, Melinda Messenger, Henry Conway, Sam J. Jones and Laura Hamilton.
The filming for this highly energetic show took place in Innsbruck, Austria. Ten episodes, of 60 minutes each, will be broadcasted on ten consecutive nights; in each episode, one contestant will be permanently eliminated from the competition. Most of the participants are British except for Kimberly Wyatt who's from the United States (she was a member of the all-female singing group—Pussycat Dolls).
While Davina is anxiously waiting for “The Jump” to be released in February, she's keeping busy co-presenting the show “Long Lost Family” and presenting, all on her own, two other successful television shows by the names of “Five Minutes to a Fortune” and “Stepping Out”.
