Out of all the most recent Hulk movies, it is probably fair to say that the Eric Bana Hulk film back in 2003 was the worst of the bunch. Edward Norton did not do too bad a job in his Hulk film and Mark Ruffalo was great as The Hulk in The Avengers. Now, Eric Bana has spoken about the difficulties of playing the character.
Bana was talking to the guys over at Digital Spy, when he told them, "I don't really think much about it. I guess the fundamental issue you've got is that there's a character who only truly exists as that character as a CGI form, so I guess that's what makes him unique."
So what did Eric think about what Joss Whedon and his team managed to do with The Hulk in The Avengers movie? Well, it seems that Bana is one of the few people not to have seen the film yet, "I haven't seen The Avengers, so I can't comment on what direction they've gone or not gone in," he added.
Meanwhile, fans in the UK will get to see Eric Bana on the big screen later this week, as he stars alongside Olivia Wilde and Charlie Hunnam in the movie Deadfall, written by Zach Dean and directed by Stefan Ruzowitzky and opens in the UK on May 10.
How would you rank the actors and their portrayal of The Hulk over the years?
