CSI Las Vegas series has seen many stars come and go during the series time of more than a decade on the air, with a dedicated fan base and star-studded cast this cult-classic is still going strong. Although other stars have chosen to retire from the show, Szmanda is one favorite who remains dedicated to his quirky Greg Sanders character.
Aside from CSI, Szmanda has also performed in other films such as the television thriller-movie Shadow of Fear and has contributed his voice talents to a variety of CSI related video games, among participating in other projects. CSI appears to remain as his main focus however, he's invested all of his energy into developing the character.
Szmanda joins fellow cast members Jorja Fox and George Eads who both decided to re-sign contracts with the studio to return for CSI's 13th season. Szmanda frequently posts photos from set on his Whosay and Twitter account, keeping in touch with his ever-growing and passionate fan base.
Let's hope that Szmanda doesn't go anywhere anytime soon, as he is the reason that many females tune in every week, aside from the alternative eye-candy; CSI veteran George Eads. Szmanda recently attended the 56th annual Grammy Awards with fellow CSI actress and favorite Jorja Fox, Szmanda stated that it was his first time attending the ceremony, “I think it was one of the best ones that I have seen in recent years, one of my favorite artists kind of swept the awards – Daft Punk..... It was really cool to see them up there. ” he stated after the show.
