Actress Erin Sanders was seen on television in a starring role in the movie "Guilty at 17" and her performance sent the message to fans and producers of both television/movie projects that she is ready to take on more challenging roles with her leading lady performance in "Guilty at 17".
She spoke about how the filming of the movie had several very emotional, crying scenes that left her emotionally exhausted but it allowed her to address the very sensitive topic of sexual assault by a teacher with a high school aged girl. The role was significant for her because it was the lead role and for fans and entertainment observers it showed that she could not only meet the dramatic demands of the role but exceed them.
The role showed that she has the ability to 'dig deep' and show the emotional grit that could connect with viewers and in the process has changed her status with some fans and filmmakers as they now view her as an 'adult' actress with impressive emotional range.
Erin Sanders apparently enjoys the challenge of these dramatic roles as she revealed that her next project is "Breaking the Chains" which is focused on educating and helping people with eating disorders.
In addition to this project she will be playing a leading role in the horror/thriller film "Dante's Corpse" which while in pre-production is scheduled for release in November 2014.
The actress who first came to prominence as a young teen actor on the television show "Zoey 101" is all grown up and intent on showing Hollywood that she possesses the acting range necessary to be a leading lady in substantial dramatic movie and television projects.
