Eva Green has been extremely busy over the last few months, what with Penny Dreadful making a wave on Showtime and 'Sin City: A Dame To Kill For' kicking into high gear on promotion. Eva is one of the many marquee names on the film, and as such, she's been busy promoting the movie with various outlets.
In an interview with Total Film, Eva calls her character in the film, Ava Lord, 'sick in the head'. She explained, "She's sick in the head! She would lie all the time. You don't know if it's sincere! It was a challenge for me to look still believable. Do people see that she's lying? It's a very fine line."
She also called the character a 'total b****', explaining that Ava had no morality and no compunctions about hurting people. Plus, Eva had a harder job than the rest of the cast because she was cast five days before the movie started filming, giving her much less time to prep than the other cast members. Eva explains that it was particularly tough for her because she enjoys preparing for movies, and in this one, she didn't get that luxury. However, from the very early reactions to the movie, it seems like she's done her job nontheless.
'Sin City: A Dame To Kill For' also stars Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Juno Temple, Josh Brolin, Jamie Chung, Jaime King, Mickey Roure, Christopher Meloni, Christopher Lloyd, Ray Liotta, and Alexa PenaVega. The movie comes as a much anticipated sequel to 2005's Sin City, although much of the cast is different.
