We have seen so many different books being adapted for the big screen over the years and there are plenty more that we are looking forward to seeing in the coming years. One such movie adaptation that we are very excited about seeing, is the upcoming movie Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.
Beautiful and talented actress Eva Green takes on the title role of Miss Peregrine in the upcoming movie and she has been talking about playing such an interesting character. Eva has revealed exactly what drew her to the role of Miss Peregrine, praising director Tim Burton for his vision.
Green explained, "One of the best things about Tim is that when he picks an actor he gives you a lot of freedom. He has total faith in you. It's a Burton film so you think, 'How far can I go?' You're not going to play too natural, you have to do something, an expressionist kind of thing, but still remain quite human."
Meanwhile, she also went on to praise Burton for his take on the character, "When you see the photograph of Miss Peregrine in the book she's more beginning-of-the-century. With Tim, she's a bit of a sexy creature and it's in the 1940s, so she's a bit more cuckoo. Literally," added the beautiful actress.
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is out now in both the US and the UK but, for now, check out the very impressive trailer for the movie, below.
