Over the years we have seen director Tim Burton making some very interesting and often peculiar films and, a lot of the time he likes to work with certain stars that he has come to trust and enjoy working with. Some of the most regular cast members in Tim Burton movies include Johnny Depp, who has worked in a whole host of Tim Burton films, and Helena Bonham Carter, which is no real surprise.
Now it looks like Tim Burton may well have found a new star that he has taken a shine to working with and that is the beautiful and talented actress Eva Green. Back in 2012, Eva Green worked with Tim Burton on his movie Dark Shadows, which also starred Johnny Depp, and now it looks like the two are going to work together again on the new project Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.
For those of you who are not familiar with the story behind Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, it is officially described as, "A teenager finds himself transported to an island where he must help protect a group of orphans with special powers from creatures out to destroy them."
While Tim Burton is directing the movie and Eva Green looks set to star in the film, there has been no other casting news as of yet. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children has been adapted for the big screen by Jane Goldman, based on the hit Ransom Riggs novel, with the movie currently looking at an August 19, 2015 release date in the UK and a March 4, 2016 release date in the US.
