Actress Eva La Rue is known to television viewers for her gorgeous presence and dramatic range which for several years made her one of the most popular cast members of the hit television show "CSI Miami" from 2005 to 2012. Since 2012 she has appeared in the television movie "Help for the Holidays" and guest starred on "Criminal Minds" but in 2014 she will be seen as the leading lady in a project that was designed specifically for her called "Swallow Your Bliss".
This role is a departure from the role that made her a favorite of men and women because she is going to be making people laugh as Amanda Bliss in her new series "Swallow Your Bliss" rather than helping put people in jail as a detective which she did in "CSI Miami". The show is a sitcom about a TV cooking show and its crew who for them the only thing that is sacred is the food and nothing else.
This role is a great way for her to show filmmakers, in particular producers and directors that she is an actress who does not have to be placed in serious, dramatic roles as she has the acting skill, wit, and feisty responses to make people laugh.
She has completed the filming for the pilot of the series and entertainment insiders are confident that the series is going to receive good reviews in large part because of her presence and underappreciated acting range.
Interestingly, she is increasing her workload in 2014 as over the past two years this in-demand actress has restricted herself to one project a year but she has changed that policy. She is in Northeast Louisiana filming a starring role in the television movie "Dancer and the Dame" with Billy Gardel of "Mike and Molly" fame.
More of Eva La Rue on television is something that none of her fans will complain about nor will the filmmakers who are eager to see her acting talent on display so that they might be able to convince her to act in their television or movie projects. Eva La Rue is once again an actress in demand but in 2014 she is being viewed as a leading lady and she is ready for this role whether it is on the small or big screen.
