Eva Longoria could be swapping the drama of Wisteria Lane for some action in The Truth. Deadline have reported that the gorgeous Desperate Housewives star is said to be in talks to star in the action thriller, written and directed by Damian Lee, alongside Andy Garcia and Forest Whitaker.
Eva - who is best known for playing sexy housewife Gabrielle Solis in the US series - is tipped to play a "corporate whistleblower to expose her company's cover-up of a massacre in a South American village", while Andy is set to play an ex-CIA agent now working as a political talk show host. Shooting is scheduled to start in the coming weeks in Ontario and Puerto Rico.
The 36-year-old actress has had her fair share of action, having appeared in 2006's The Sentinel opposite Michael Douglas and Kiefer Sutherland, and 2006's Harsh Times with Christian Bale.
