It has been a long journey for the Marvel character Ant-Man to finally hit the big screen and join the Marvel Cinematic Universe but we are now just a few months away from finally getting to see the Ant-Man movies big release. The closer we get to the Ant-Man release, the more promotional material we are going to see but there are also still a few questions that we cannot wait to have answered.

Evangeline Lilly and Paul Rudd star in Ant-Man
One of the questions that has had a lot of people talking, is just who exactly Evangeline Lilly will be playing in the Ant-Man movie. We know that she will play the character Hope Van Dyne, who is the daughter of Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne but this has led to the question of whether she will play The Wasp or whether she will play the Red Queen.
Those of you who are familiar with your Marvel history will know that Janet Van Dyne was The Wasp, which has led many people to claim that she will pass on The Wasp legacy to her daughter Hope Van Dyne. Meanwhile though, with Hope Van Dyne being the daughter of Hank Pym, we could see her becoming Hope Pym, who you will know becomes the character Red Queen.

Evangeline Lilly with Michael Douglas in Ant-Man
It will be interesting to see exactly which way Marvel do decide to go with Evangeline Lilly and her character and it could be that we see her starting off being the good of The Wasp, before seeing a turn of events causing her to change her views on things and become Red Queen. Whatever they do decide to do, we cannot wait to see Ant-Man finally hitting the big screen and we have high hopes for the movie.
Would you rather see Evangeline Lilly as The Wasp or Red Queen?
Ant-Man will open on July 17 in both the US and the UK.
