If you're not familiar with Evelyn Sharma, then you better start getting familiar. The half-German, half-Indian actress had a breakout 2013 with three films at the box office, and she's about to have another banner year in 2014 and 2015.
Although Evelyn made her Bollywood and film debut as 'Snobby Girl #1' in the film 'Turn Left' in 2006, she had her first major role in 'From Sydney With Love' in 2012. However, it wasn't until Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani that she was really introduced to global audiences. The role made her a Bollywood star, and she's since been inundated with roles, both leading and supporting in major Bollywood films.
She also starred in the lower budget comedy 'Nautanki Saala!', which means that she's willing to accept a different range of films as opposed to the big-budget star-driven vehicles that some actresses stick to. She also had the contemporary adaptation of Romeo and Juliet in 'Isaaq' with Malini Aswarthi and Sandeep Bose. She will next be seen in 'Bhaiyyaji Superhitt' with Preity Zinta, Arshad Warsi, and Sunny Deol.
However, it if it was up to Evelyn, there's no doubt that she would be starring alongside Salman Khan in her next film. Evelyn recently admitted that she's a huge fan of Salman Khan, explaining in an interview, "He is a huge star, but is simple and sweet at heart. I admire that." Evelyn had also added that she was a fan of pretty much all the Khans in the industry, but she hadn't had the proper chance to meet most of them. Well, if her career continues on the same path its been going so far, not only will she get to meet them, but probably headline a movie alongside them.
