When it was first announced that we were finally going to be getting a Justice League movie, there were millions of very excited fans all over the world, eager to see what Zack Snyder would do with our favourite DC comic book characters. However, once the casting announcements started to happen, a lot of fans began to lose faith in the project, as they felt that the wrong people were being cast.
Many voiced their disappointment at Ezra Miller being cast in the role of Barry Allen aka The Flash, but the actor has been working very hard on the character, doing plenty of research in a bid to give the best performance he possibly can. Ezra has now been talking about playing The Flash, admitting that getting to wear the costume is one of the best things he has ever done in his life.
Miller explained, "I’ll tell you that donning the Flash suit is one of the single most thrilling experiences I’ve ever known. You know it’s like a samurai getting in his armor. Every day, I just felt like, so cool. It’s the greatest. I really love playing the Flash. I love Barry Allen. I really, I’ve come to, yeah, I’ve come to really hold a special place in my heart for this neurotic but altruistic individual."
He then went on to add, "I’m just so excited to explore him and explore that for as long as possible. Even if it just means, [reading comic books]. Honestly, it’s an incredible gift to the world, the long history of the Flash. I feel so lucky to be a part of these great stories."
We will next get to see Ezra Miller as The Flash in the movie Justice League, which is set to hit the big screen on November 17, 2017 in both the US and the UK.
