With Warner Bros. and DC deciding to keep their big screen projects separate from their small screen shows, rather than having them crossing over, it means that we will get to see the same character played by different actors. We have already seen the actor Grant Gustin playing the role of The Flash in the hit The CW television series, while we will see a different actor playing the role on the big screen.
There were a lot of rumours and suggestions about which actor should play The Flash in the DC Cinematic Universe, before it was officially announced that Ezra Miller has been cast in the role. Ezra has now opened up about playing The Flash, revealing how he discovered that he has been cast as the comic book character.
While appearing at the Sundance Film Festival, Miller took some time to chat to The Hollywood Reporter, telling them, "Zack Snyder told me on the phone that he wanted me to play the Flash while I was eating a tilapia in a small Central American village. That was definitely a moment that prompted me to question the fabric of my reality."
While we already know that we will get to see Ezra Miller in a solo The Flash movie in 2018, we also know that we will get to see the character appearing on the big screen in The Justice League Part One in 2017, while there have been some suggestions that we could even see the character making a small cameo appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. We cannot wait!
