Well we are all now very aware that Warner Bros. and DC are going to do things a little bit different to what Marvel have been doing, by having different actors play the same character on the big screen and the small screen. We are now well into season two of the hit television series The Flash, which airs on The CW, with actor Grant Gustin giving us some fantastic performances throughout the series.
With that said though, we also already know that we are going to see the actor Ezra Miller playing the role of The Flash on the big screen, with some suggesting that we could even see him making a cameo appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice next year. Ezra has now been speaking about his version of The Flash, teasing what he hopes will take place with the character on the big screen.
Miller was being interviewed for a piece by Entertainment Weekly, when he said to them, "Well, [first] it’s going to be a movie. I’d like for it to be an exploration of a human being, a multi-dimensional human being, to speak. Wow, I just made such a pun, without meaning to! I'd like the character to have many dimensions"
He added, "But really, I’d like him to have the usual dimensions we know and love, and then some extra ones that are part of the amazing consideration of this superhero. I hope to realize him as a person, and I think what’s most exciting for me in superhero mythologies is when we feel the humanity of someone who is heroic — or the heroism of someone who is a flawed, deeply human person."
Ezra Miller will see The Flash movie hit the big screen on March 23, 2018.
Which actor do you think will play The Flash better?
