While Marvel have decided to interlink their movies with their television shows, Warner Bros. and DC have decided to mix things up a bit, by having two different universe that are separate from one another. We have seen the DC television universe coming together nicely, with Arrow and The Flash crossover episodes, while we are now looking forward to the DC movie universe coming together next year.
Actor Grant Gustin has done a very good job of playing Barry Allen aka The Flash on the small screen, while we are now waiting to see what we can expect from Ezra Miller, who is taking on the role for the big screen. We have already heard a number of different rumours about what to expect from the big screen version of The Flash and we cannot wait to see what is true and what is not.
There have been plenty of rumours that we will see Ezra Miller in a cameo appearance as The Flash in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, with many predicting it will be in an end credits scene. Meanwhile, it is also expected that we will see the big screen version of Barry Allen having long hair, as teased at comic-con this year, as well as being "ripped" rather than "bulky". Now it has been claimed that The Flash costume will have a post-apocalyptic look to it, which has excited fans around the world.
While not all of this has yet been confirmed, it has definitely risen our excitement levels and we cannot wait for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to land, so that we can get a good look at all of the characters and their costumes.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens on March 25, 2016, while The Flash is scheduled for a March 23, 2018 release date.
