The cast of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ is looking more and more as if it will feature every rising young star in Hollywood. After adding Shailene Woodley as Mary-Jane Watson and Dane Dehaan as Harry Osbourne, it looks like the producers have now added Felicity Jones in a still-unspecified role.

In an interview with RTL Netherlands, Jones reportedly confirmed her involvement in the film, saying, “I've never done a superhero movie. It's very nice to you as an actor in several worlds to go and to experiment.” Although she reportedly refused to confirm who she was playing, she now joins Paul Giamatti in a growing roster of A-list actors.
A lot of fans are speculating that Jones will play the Black Cat due to her resemblance to the character, but we’re thinking it may be a smaller role. The producers and filmmakers have been adamant that they will not have a repeat of Spider-Man 3, where there were too many characters and too many storylines interfering with the main plot. They are already introducing three main characters in TASM 2, including Harry Osbourne, Mary-Jane Watson, and Electro.
